Profession: Lyricist, Musician, Composer and Singer.
Spouse Name: Rinchen Yonjan.

In the history of music Industry of Nepal Gopal Yonjan is popularly known as the lyricist, composer, musician, singer as well as Music arranger in which he composed more than 2000 songs, from modern, folk, classical to western music.

To express the feelings of sadness, happiness and sorrow music play a vital role, also to express ups and downs of the life music works as a medium to express and to convey the meaningful message through melody and musical arrangement. He was born in 2000 B.S. on the day of Nepalese festival named “Janai Purnima”. His father name was Budhiman Yonjan and mother name was Chekudolma Yonjan and was born in the Darjeeling.


He started his musical education in Darjeeling, also he have his own name and fame and identity in the field Nepalese music industry. He received his musical knowledge from Nanodulal Mukharjee in the field of classical music also called “Sastriya Sangeet” in devnagari script.
He received his academic qualification from Tribhuwan University, Nepal and awarded a degree named Master in Arts majoring in Nepali Literature. He also gained Bachelor in Musicology from the same University.

He likes to arrange music of the song more than to compose a new song. He always tries to experiment a new melody to the particular song and try to record the final arrangement which match perfectly to the particular song or the piece of music. He recorded his first song named “Timro Jasto Mutu Mero Pani” in radio Nepal which was a popular and well known song in the field of Nepalese musical industry. He likes his friend named “Karma Yonjan”, Amber Gurung, Sharan Pradhan and Ranjit Gajmer and respects them like the teacher and well wishers. All of the artist are closed friends and related to the same Industry, they only left the great composition and arrangement which can never be forgettable from the heart of Nepalese music lovers, also they are the great person and legendary of their lifetime.

He meets his lifetime friend named Rinchen Yonjan at the time when he was a teacher at Saint Marie’s and Saint Javier’s school. Both Gopal and Rinchen was the teacher of the same school. Therefore, they meet each other every day. When Gopal got an opportunity they went to visit different new places and he also sing a new song for her. They love each other and they got married in 2025 B.S. They have two sons named Nirwan and Ahinsha and a daughter named Sirjana.
